Love Today. Strength Tomorrow.
After months of prayer, planning, and persistence, REC Haven has officially received our 501(c)(3) nonprofit designation from the IRS! This incredible milestone means we can now accept tax-deductible donations and apply for grants that will help us bring our vision to life — creating a safe haven for children and families in our community.
Our Mission
REC Haven stands for Refuge, Encouragement, and Care.
Our mission is simple yet powerful — to provide a place where children can feel safe, seen, and supported. We believe that every child deserves a space filled with compassion, understanding, and hope. Whether it’s through community nights, mentorship programs, or future safe-haven initiatives, REC Haven exists to make sure no child feels alone in their struggle.
Why This Matters
So many children face challenges far beyond what any young person should carry — from unstable homes to emotional hardship and a lack of community connection. REC Haven is here to bridge that gap. We’re building programs that give kids not only comfort in the moment but tools for lasting strength and resilience.
What’s Next
Now that we’re officially recognized as a 501(c)(3), we’re preparing to launch our first programs, secure partnerships with local organizations, and grow our volunteer base. Every donation, every connection, and every voice of encouragement helps fuel this mission forward.
How You Can Help
💛 Donate: Your contributions directly support the launch of our programs.
🤝 Partner: If you represent a business, church, or community group, we’d love to collaborate.
🙌 Volunteer: Be part of something bigger — one act of kindness can change a child’s life.

We are beyond grateful for everyone who’s supported this dream — and we can’t wait to share the journey ahead.
Love Today. Strength Tomorrow.
